Great and wonderful God,
we thank you that you are behind and before us,
to our left and to our right, above us and below,
filling the universe, yet gently within us.
We offer ourselves afresh to you this day,
asking for your grace to enable us to live in the knowledge of your surrounding love,
through times joyful and sad, anxious and peaceful.

- 15 September, 8.30 am Shipley train station - Sponsored walk - hope you have all managed to get some sponsors! If you would like to participate in the walk see Ian K for details. If you don't want to walk, then we would like some help in the kitchen doing the refreshments for our weary walkers!
- 25 September, 7.30 pm - Church Council
- 28 September, 10.00 am to 3.00 pm - Child Poverty Day for Action Aid - Free scones and coffee, soup/rolls. See Jackie D for further details.
- 9 October, 2.00 pm Pastoral Committee at Jackie M's.
- 13 October, 10.00 am to 12.00 noon - Coffee morning to raise money for Keith's India project - Bring & Buy - Cake stall - Phoenix cards - Jewellery - Tea/coffee & biscuits 50p
- 13 February 2008, 2.00 pm - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - Elaine still has some tickets spare if you would like to come.
Thackley's Talents!
Many thanks to all who participated or supported our Talents Challenge this year. We changed £95 (the amount given out) to a whopping £762.40!! Well done everyone.
