Guides Report to General Church Meeting

We once again have had a busy and hectic year. We currently have 35 girls, 4 leaders and a unit helper, and I can say without doubt that both the girls and the leaders have all had a lot of fun! Some highlights from our year have been…. Having numerous girls attend 3 camps – Badge weekend, Survival Camp and SCAMPS camp (even though we did have to decamp at Scamps due to a horrendous storm that flooded the site!) and a ‘sleepover’ at church – not that we got much sleep.  Attending the Armature Dramatic Panto at the little theatre  Completing numerous badges, including Recycled Fashion Go for It, Circus skills, Health and Well-being and Free Being Me.  Attending Flamingofling, at Flamingo Land, alongside 5,500 other Rainbow, Brownies, Guides, Seniors and Leaders from across North East England!  Bring Your Mum to Guides Night – and boy did we throw the mums in at the deep end! Marshmallow tower building, a Guiding alphaspagetti crossword, and blindfold Jam sandwich making!  Cir
