Monday 18th – today is Ruth and Tony’s wedding anniversary. We thank God for the gift of love and the joy and companionship of marriage.
Tuesday 19th – we give thanks for all who meet in our church this morning for the Circuit Tuesday morning worship. We pray for God’s blessing on this new venture.
Wednesday 20th – Alma gives thanks to God for the comfort her sister found from our prayers. May we be willing and patient to let God answer prayer in His time and in His way.
Thursday 21st – let us give thanks for the work of our church treasurer, Jackie, for all who contribute to the financial upkeep of our church, and for those who are creatively using their gifts to meet our Talents Challenge. May we use our money wisely to further God’s work here in Thackley.
Friday 22nd – today we give thanks for those who collect our waste, keeping our streets free from disease. We pray that God will guide us all to minimise waste, to recycle what we can, and to preserve the wonderful world He gave to us.
Saturday 23rd – we ask for God’s blessing on the preparations for tomorrow’s service, and give thanks for the dedicated leadership and work of our church stewards.
Sunday 24th – today is Verity’s 12th birthday. We thank God for her caring nature and the loving way she looks after the younger children in junior church. Happy Birthday, Verity.
