Shine 14 - 21 October 2007

Leading us in worship next week is Rev Keith Knight

Prayer for this week:
May the compelling love Christ for life on the earth drive us,
as disciples, to hallow
the air we breathe
the water we drink
the food we eat
the company we keep
the communities we create
So that love may permeate whole lives, all life, and the planet itself.
Amen
(Peter Whittiaker - Chair West Yorkshire District)

Please remember inyour prayers this week
Valerie (Margaret R's sister), Julie and David (Freda's son).

Harvest supper
The Harvest supper raised £50 and the Harvest Collection raised £146.96 for Keith's India appeal. Many thanks for all who supported these events.

Prayer book
Starting from next Sunday there will be a Prayer Book which one of the Stewards will pass around each Sunday morning, for anyone in the congregation to write down the names of those who you would like us to pray for during the service. The book will be passed to whoever is preaching so that s/he can include the people mentioned in prayers.
