What a brilliant night! As part of our fund raising to cover the cost of the children going away with us on our Church Family Weekend to Abbott Hall, our young people turned our church hall into a restaurant for the night.
We were greeted at the door and led to the coffee lounge where we were offered a "Thackley Zinger" and enjoyed pre-dinner entertainment provided by Fran playing her clarinet and Ben his trumpet.
The meal was fantastic and the waiting service very professional! Here's the menu:
Starter
Homemade Mackerel Pate served with wholemeal bread
Or
Homemade American Meatloaf served with wholemeal bread
Main Course
Fricassee of chicken with a lime sauce served with pine nut and herb couscous and salad
Dessert
A choice from:
Richard's baked cheesecake,
Fresh fruit pavlova
Apple pie
Tea or Coffee
